The OnAir creator configuration calls for a specific tuner type to be
declared. However for some old kernels that tuner type was named
differently. This change adapts to the older name, when present.

The pvrusb2 driver tries to keep all device specific attributes in a
single data structure in one source file. This change further cleans
up how that table is set up. We now try to group everything together
for each specific device, and the number of symbols exported from this
module has now been reduced to a single global.

After this patch, the order of the functions will be the same as before the
patch converting the driver to user video_ioctl2. This makes easier to diff
between the previous version and the newer one.

Seems like -common part contains also code that is not completely

The usage of scripts/checkpatch.pl were already documented at
SubmittingPatches[1], since June, 1st.
This patch explicitly adds this as a requirement, since people don't generally
check the new requirements added there.

Kernel's checkpatch.pl appeared only on kernel version 2.6.22. However, several
improvements happened on recent kernels.
This patch copies the latest version (0.11) of checkpatch.pl to the v4l-dvb
development tree.
Also, now, prep_commit_msg.pl checks if the script is available at Kernel
and checks for its version. If the version is older than the in-tree one, it
uses the in-tree. Otherwise, kernel version is used.
It is always a good idea to use kernel's checkpatch.pl, since some additional
tests can be done when using the kernel's, like checking for the usage of
depreciated API's.

Move VIDEO_PVRUSB2_SYSFS such that it is turned off for kernels older
than 2.6.18. This should allow the driver to still compile using
older kernel (minus the sysfs interface). This change is due to the
driver's sysfs implementation moving forward to the newer class
interface mechanism; the differences are too great to cleanly separate
with ifdefs (and I expect the divergence to grow as other changes are
made to take advantage of the new mechanism), so for now we simply
give up trying to deal with the old interface.

The saa7134 video driver starts dropping frames when used together with the
saa7134-alsa driver. Frames are dropped because when an audio event is waiting
the driver simply ignores the interrupt and passes it on to the saa7134-alsa
interrupt handler. The alsa interrupt handler in turn acknowledges all types
of events thus clearing the pending video events as well. Fix by only masking
out the audio event in the video interrupt handler and by only acknowledging
the audio event in the alsa driver.

Hi,
since there is no movement on this since ever, I suggest to proceed
in that direction for now. Better solutions, if the chip or tuners
should allow them, are of course welcome.
Cheers,
Hermann
Currently the saa7134 chips only have mute support for the TV input.
Cards with mute from external audio muxes are already fine on the
other inputs and some recent tuners mute at least the radio on exit.
But these mostly hybrid tuners are not fully backward compatible, since
they must power down and mute regardless.
For some included above, the MD7134 knows several, to switch on mute/automute
to the TV input is functional and backward compatible for the applications,
except that the tuners with tda9887 always mute on exit.

This change adds support for 4 extra keys on the remote currently being
shipped by leadtek with their "WinFast TV2000 XP/Expert" and
"WinFast PVR2000" cards. The remote P/N seems to be Y04G0033 and
you can see a picture of it here: http://lespinasse.org/y04g0033.jpg
The extra keys are at the bottom and are labeled MCE +VOL, -VOL, +CH, -CH.
I chose to map them to the F21-F24 keycodes, following the precedent of
ir_codes_gotview7135[], so as to differentiate these 'MCE' keys from the
other +VOL, -VOL, +CH, -CH 'arrow' keys higher up on the remote.
