2009-02-04gspca - main: Destroy the URBs at disconnection time.Jean-Francois Moine
From: Adam Baker <linux@baker-net.org.uk> If a device using the gspca framework is unplugged while it is still streaming then the call that is used to free the URBs that have been allocated occurs after the pointer it uses becomes invalid at the end of gspca_disconnect. Make another cleanup call in gspca_disconnect while the pointer is still valid (multiple calls are OK as destroy_urbs checks for pointers already being NULL. 2009-02-01cx18: Fix presentation timestamp (PTS) for VBI buffersAndy Walls
From: Andy Walls <awalls@radix.net> The old code from ivtv used a CX23415/6 PTS, which was simply left at 0 in the cx18 driver. Since the CX23418 gives us what I think is a PTS (or some other 90 kHz clock count) with each VBI buffer, this change has the cx18 driver use that as a PTS. From: Oldřich Jedlička <oldium.pro@seznam.cz> Added support for I2C device at address 0x40 and subaddress 0x0d/0x0b that provides remote control key reading support for AVerMedia Cardbus Hybrid card, possibly for other AVerMedia Cardbus cards. 2009-02-14ivtv: fix decoder crash regressionHans Verkuil
From: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil@xs4all.nl> The video_ioctl2 conversion of ivtv in kernel 2.6.27 introduced a bug causing decoder commands to crash. The decoder commands should have been handled from the video_ioctl2 default handler, ensuring correct mapping of the argument between user and kernel space. Unfortunately they ended up before the video_ioctl2 call, causing random crashes. Thanks to hannes@linus.priv.at for testing and helping me track down the cause!
