From b89d5946e0d1e7c1d93eb6cb2edda3f4eb9b83a5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mauro Carvalho Chehab Date: Mon, 21 Jan 2008 15:15:19 +0000 Subject: bt878: remove handcrafted PCI subsystem ID check From: Akinobu Mita This patch moves the subsystem ID and subsystem vendor ID check from probing function to the PCI generic function by describing subsystem IDs in pci_device_id table. This enables to add new PCI IDs to a device driver pci_ids table at runtime by new_id file in sysfs pci driver tree.
