Description
-----------

This is a TrueType font based on the DejaVu font.
It contains symbols that are used by VDR plugins and patches.

NOTE:
The symbols are only accessible if the plugins/patches access them
using UTF8 in VDR or if they use the new locations (like ExtRecMenu v1.2+
and NordlichtsEPG v0.9+).


Installation
------------

To use the fonts you have to extract the archive in your
VDR's plugins configuration directory:

> cd /path/to/truetype-fonts
> tar xzf vdrsymbols-ttf-20100612.tgz

This will create a new directory "vdrsymbols".
Then .ttf files have to be copied to a folder where FontConfig can access them,
for example /usr/share/fonts/truetype.

access them using unicode, the second column is for non-unicode.
