On my VDR (Gen2VDR) the iMon often fails to start, because the LCDd takes too much time to free the /dev/lcd0

Is it possible to implement a retry to the imon-plugin? Lets say that /dev/lcd0 can't be accest on VDR startup. Then the plugin should retry every second for let's say about 10 seconds before it fails.

First line is shortly before VDR starts. At the end you can see that imon fails to open /dev/lcd0. But the plugin itself is starting earlier.
