Please can you explain the problem ?
Can you upload a 100M sample of the recording to Gdrive or elsewhere for test ?
Updated by hondansx almost 8 years ago
Sure.
The original 001.vdr shows 3 audiostreams. After genindex (genindex -b -n -i 001.vdr -d temp) is creating temp/001.vdr there are only 2 Audiostreams (AC3 got lost - see above)

Yes, at the moment my version of Genindex doesn't handle both AC3 and dvbsubs which both unfortunately use stream ID 0xBD.
Thanks for the sample. I should be able to add AC3 support to Genindex, but it may take some time to write & test.
It would help if you could supply a couple more samples of different programs from different broadcasters which include AC3 streams, so I can test a range of recordings (I had no VDR1 recordings with AC3 before your sample)

If possible please provide a couple of recordings of around 100M or so with both AC3 audio AND dvb subtitles, and from different broadcasters if possible, as there are sometimes variations
Thanks

Happy New Year!
Genindex now supports/extracts AC3/DTS streams VDR1.x recordings, but has only been tested on your 1 sample. Please rebuild your Genindex from the repository (pes.c and version.h changed) and test with some other recordings.
I would appreciate some further samples also.

Ah nice. I will test and report.
Thanks for your support and a Happy New Year!
