Hi,

I am new to epgd and I wonder whether it would not be better to offer directories to insert files with new snippets for epgd.conf and channelmap.conf instead of merging them into the original files?

Moreover, if so, I would also suggest to have it ignore the files with the suffix ".disabled" to allow people to keep different versions of the snippets in the directories.
