When more than one programs are being recorded and one deletes one of the ongoing ones' timer or recording, text2skin crashes sometimes. I haven't found a 100% reliable reproducer but it does happen often, for example usually on the first or 2nd try of the following:

1) Start an instant recording on one channel by hitting rec
2) Switch to another channel, start another instant recording on that one
3) Go to timers menu, delete the timer created in either of the above steps

...or instead of 3), go to recordings menu and delete the recording for one of the ongoing timers.

I've seen two different backtraces for this, will attach them. I think the one mentioning xml/string.h is the one which happens when deleting a timer entry, and the other one in status.c:417 is the one when deleting a recording file.
