I believe, the accidental presidency font is not compatible to the GPL and surely will not be covered by the Debian Free Software Guidelines, because auf this part of the license:
Tepid Monkey Fonts typefaces may be used for free in work that will not generate a profit. If you intend to use the font on an item or project that will be sold, please send me an email first
You should replace this font or at least make a note about the copyright and license of this font somewhere.

I will try to find a replacement font, in the meantime I will add a note that the font included in the default theme is not compatible with the GPL.

Closing for now, node has been added to README. Will remove the note if/when the font is replaced.
