test status analog (PAL-B):
- Sometimes picture is noisy, but it becomes crystal clear after
switching between channels. (happens for example at 687.25 Mhz)
- On a lower frequency (511.25 Mhz) the picture is always sharp, but
lacks colour.
- No sound problems.
- radio untested.
Digital:
- DVB-T/H stream reception works.
- Would expect to see some more channels in the higher frequency region.
Overall is the impression that sensitivity still needs improvement
both in analog and digital modes.

Hi All.
When fast push-pull button of remote control we can received incorrect
key code 0x00. Key information from IR decoder has ID of remote control 2 bytes,
byte of key code and byte of mirror key code.
Correct data
0x86 0x6B 0x00 0xFF
Wrong data
0x86 0x6B 0x00 0x00
This patch added additional test of mirror byte for filtering.
With my best regards, Dmitry.

* Add smp_lock.h to files which do need it
* Make smp_lock.h include conditional in hardirq.h
It's needed only for one kernel_locked() usage which is under CONFIG_PREEMPT

Since i2c autoprobing is no longer supported by v4l2 we need to make sure
that the i2c modules are linked before the v4l2 modules. The v4l2 modules
now rely on the presence of the i2c modules, so these must have initialized
themselves before the v4l2 modules.
The exception is the ir-kbd-i2c module, which is the only one still using
autoprobing. This one should be loaded at the end of the v4l2 module. Loading
it earlier actually causes problems with tveeprom. Once ir-kbd-i2c is no
longer autoprobing, then it has to move up as well.
This is only an issue when everything is compiled into the kernel.
Thanks to Marcus Swoboda for reporting this and Udo Steinberg for testing
this patch.

Mostly due to ir-kdb-i2c, but also due to two new drivers, compilation
with kernels older than 2.6.29 were broken.
This quick and dirty changeset, generated semi-automatically, restaures
backport to the subsystem by adding lots of #ifs.
It is possible to write a much more small changeset that would restore
backport without adding so many ifs, but, due to the lack of time, this
will also solve it.

Let card drivers probe for IR receiver devices and instantiate them if
found. Ultimately it would be better if we could stop probing
completely, but I suspect this won't be possible for all card types.
There's certainly room for cleanups. For example, some drivers are
sharing I2C adapter IDs, so they also had to share the list of I2C
addresses being probed for an IR receiver. Now that each driver
explicitly says which addresses should be probed, maybe some addresses
can be dropped from some drivers.
Also, the special cases in saa7134-i2c should probably be handled on a
per-board basis. This would be more efficient and less risky than always
probing extra addresses on all boards. I'll give it a try later.

new_(probed)_subdev
From: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil@xs4all.nl>
The functions v4l2_i2c_new_subdev and v4l2_i2c_new_probed_subdev relied on
i2c_get_adapdata to return the v4l2_device. However, this is not always
possible on embedded platforms. So modify the API to pass the v4l2_device
pointer explicitly.

Originally the intention was to switch to the new style i2c API starting with
the introduction of the API in 2.6.22. However, the i2c_new_probed_device()
function has a lethal bug that wasn't fixed until 2.6.25. Or more accurately,
it was only fixed in the stable series of 2.6.25 and 2.6.26.
Given the fact that the new i2c API also changed starting with 2.6.26 (the
addition of i2c_device_id), it is easiest to switch APIs starting with
2.6.26.
This patch updates all the legacy code accordingly.
