VDR SoftHDDevice Plugin

There is an advance fork, which works very good: http://projects.vdr-developer.org/projects/plg-mpv

No need to add the support into this project.

I should have mentioned in first post that what am I intend to request is a media player interface as an extension of main decoder, not a separate plugin. Because when you use a separate plugin or application, it is going to try to reach audio and video resources in its own way. Thus some problems may happen in this concept. For example, I use bitperfect sound output via alsa plughw hence the soundcard is dedicated only to softhddevice plugin. Thus I can't get sound when I use a separate plugin or media player because the soundcard is busy by main interface. Maybe main interface can free the soundcard during plugin switch but I'm not sure that this is doable by mpv/mplayer plugins itself.

I know there is xineliboutput plugin with the requested features applied but it is not as smooth and as fast as softhddevice, especially with my onboard ATI video hardware.
