CMP - compound media player¶

is a client/server solution intended to play any media from any machine reachable through local network, without the need to export and mount any shares.
Client and Server communicate through HTTP-protocol, though proxies and firewalls can be used.
Backend supports authorization based on HTTP-digest protocol, but it is not enabled by default.
