How to install:

Needed is a Motorola VIP unit, PC with VDR (streamdev) & http server.
(Motorola bootimage in this thread : http://www.mikrocontroller.net/topic/244038 )

Download the script files (http://projects.vdr-developer.org/projects/vdr-vipclient/files) and put the files on a webserver and point the 19xx to it.
NEW Added a script to create a channels.js from a running VDR server with the use of svdrpsend.pl. So you can easily use your own channel list on the vip.

For watching or deleting recordings you need the "VDR on SmartTV" plugin (http://projects.vdr-developer.org/projects/plg-smarttvweb).
At the moment no trickspeed can be done, but with the digits you can jump +/- 30, +/- 60 or +/- 240 seconds.
Also it is used for Deleting Timers and Creating New Timers.

Server (Search)Timers or EPG can be viewed if you install the YaVDR restfulapi plugin.

What is it?

A javascript client running on Motorola VIP hardware to access a VDR server.
Tested with VIP1963, VIP1903, VIP1960 & VIP1910, but should run on other VIP models too.

Motorola VIPs are used by eg KPN in Holland, Poda in Czech Republic for IPTV and can be found for cheap on auctions sites.
