it is a nice plugin now and stable
thie plugin is bringing back vdr to its golden days
would be nice to create a media player entry in menu!!!
You can try the plugins vdr-music, vdr-mp3ng, vdr-dvd and vdr-mplayer.
And this (untested) http://sourceforge.net/projects/externalplayer/
There is an experimental plugin http://projects.vdr-developer.org/projects/plg-play which can be used as movie player.
