Hi,

could you please create a new project "epg-meta-info"?

This is intended to be a collection of meta information about channels for epg-applications. The collection will contain

- standardized channel names
- a brief description for each channel
- links to official homepages and wikipedia
- logo information
- etc.

for every channel in an easy-to-work-with XML file format. The collection should be helpful for any application that provides an epg, e.g. vdr, mythtv, etc.

I've begun building this collection and once it reaches a critical mass want to put it here. It will still need quite a bit of help by crowdsourcing, though.
